Muffins

cup all purpose flour

cup whole wheat flour

-⅓ cup sugar

tsp baking powder

tsp salt

beaten egg
¾
cup milk
¼
cup unsweetened applesauce
Add Ins

cup blueberries
¾
cup mashed bananas (reduce milk to ½ cup)

cup chopped walnuts or almonds
½
tsp cinnamon and 1 cup raisins
¼ cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400°. Mix together the flour, sugar,
baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix together egg, milk, and
applause in a separate bowl. Add the egg mixture to flour
mixture stir until blended but still
a bit lumpy. Mix in any desired add ins. Fill muffin cups or a greased muffin tin with batter to about 3/4 full. Bake for 20 min or until slightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Makes 12 muffins
